Congratulations! We have officially completed our first week of 2021 and boy was it eventful! We now have a female VP, a new President of the United States and a blue Senate. There was also some type of insurrection at Capitol Hill. Trump supporters rallied after a particular message was given regarding a "stolen election." People died! Like, this was a real thing that happened and there was no national uproar. That was crazy and I'm not going to even go into the racial aspect of this entire situation. Social studies is not my best subject, but with all of these current events, it's starting to look pretty interesting. We thought 2020 came in with a bang, I would say 2021 seems ready to give last year a run for that money.
